Protect Earth have another woodland/wetland project in progress in Bath and we need your help to get it bought. I’ll probably have to fight a while longer to make it happen but right now we need your support to buy the land. www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/reforestat...

That was what I thought and why I wondered your opinion. Can see value there performing site recce if you have access needs.

Just struggle to see it as a fulfilling alternative to actually visiting. Though I recognise I've, fortunately, not been in the position of being unable to.

Increased safety concern along footpaths/cycleways is something I think needs to be considered in impact assessment as part of proposals. Thinking of a tarmac cyclepath through woodland ride where there was deemed, by officers, to be negligible impact on site ecology. But also more generally.

Those that claim it must necessarily have a stricter intake policy I believe. Passes the job off to others while benefitting from the PR boost.

Interesting you mention animal shelters as I was thinking of those that don't euthanise as a perfect example of "outsourcing unpleasantness" as you mentioned earlier.

Is the intricacy of ethical decision making in regard to animal welfare the reason many are drawn to animal rights. Does the simplicity appeal?

Is the habitat fragmentation less of a problem for wolves than it is lynx?
