Instinctively recoil from anyone who tries to boil down complex issues to black and white. Even if I generally agree, usually means they’re driven by blind ideology than any sort of practical acknowledgment of reality

I'll never judge someone for not being a ra-ra USA type person because I don't know what their experience of this country has been, but the people who get upset at others expressing any kind of positive vision or attachment are just doing FUCK U DAD politics. most countries are many things.
