It took a few minutes, but went to the (brace yourselves) official White House BlueSky account and blocked all the departments they have reposted there and then blocked that account. Feeling violated that my eyeballs had to look at their crap to click on all those accounts.
SO MUCH ICK.

Put a plate of water with a few rocks in it out on a tree stump in the yard and a sparrow had a little bath in it. My day is made! Hoping some bees will find it too.

I’m not much of a re-poster, but this is cool and I wanted to be able to find it again later to show someone who isn’t in Bluesky.

“Covid is only a risk to the vulnerable” narrative was made up by governments to convince you to go back to work. To unmask. To spend money. To think of Covid as a problem only “other” people have to worry about so that you will keep propping up capitalism.

Highly recommend a prism/crystal for sunny windows. The rainbows are super intense today! (And if I just stand here all morning it’s a great way to jazz up my boring grey sweater...)

Fact-checking is so important. Do better, CTV!
I’m devastated, but I’m also angry. I’m angry because this is an attack on press freedom.
If opportunities can be stripped from journalists simply because enough people repeat the same bad-faith narrative, how can anyone withstand the career impact of doing work that matters?

I wish there was an app that would blur out the faces of certain people when they come up on the news or in different feeds so my eyeballs don’t have to be constantly burned by the vulgar display of their hateful mugs as I try to stay informed.
