The words Barack spoke ring true more and more each and every day.

We must keep using our voices to demand change. No one is here to rescue us, but us.

As a reminder of what true leadership in a POTUS looks like, we show appreciation to him today.

If you've ever been in a library marketing workshop with me and done the 'what do you WANT your library brand to be?' exercise... wow: 'refuge, joy, connection, purpose, and expansion' is an incredible set of words to aspire to. 📚

You could build marketing campaigns around this for 2025 and beyond!

Jeff Bezos never wanted this cartoon to become public.

He killed it, and as a result, pulitzer prize editorial cartoonist Ann Telnaes quit.

Make sure everyone sees this cartoon. - @aaronparnas.bsky.social

This is the most-read piece on @theatlantic.com. It should be the most-read piece. You should all read it, even though it may make you sad. Here’s a gift link so you can read it.

Pardon the authors of banned books, pardon the teachers & librarians who are under attack for distributing them, pardon the journalists who told the truth about the outcome of the 2020 election & the January 6 insurrection.
My take on the Hunter Biden pardon: tomorrow, Biden should preemptively pardon every journalist, author and publisher for anything said or written critical of Trump or possibly considered obscene.

I remember getting my 1st library card. I was in kindergarten in a small town in Texas, and my entire class along with the other class walked to our little, local library. It was a small jog from the school, and we had limited options compared to now, but books still opened whole new worlds for us.
Think of all the cards in your wallet right now.

Visa? MasterCard? American Express? Starbucks?

To kids, a first library card can symbolize the power and responsibility of adulthood.
