My wife oftne asks me if she has to worry about a "sports betting problem" and I have to explain to her that betting $10 on the Packers to win on Sundays and $20 on the Brewers to win the WS every March is not the epidemic she's hearing about.

Anyway, I don't know if I'll be back. I've held off on renewing my season tickets for the first time in a decade despite the Brewers winning more games than any other season in franchise history. I'm just not sure the game deserves that level of investment and attention anymore.

It's not the Dodgers' fault that they can and are willing to spend more money than half the league combined. They're playing by the rules. The rules are bad. There are no rules, and the absence of rules is bad.
