not here to post, just here to try to get sports news without having to deal with nazis. please don't follow me, my days of trying to ruin my own life by getting in heated arguments with internet strangers are past. timc, gpg, utv, crab rangoon, things of that nature.
He has to go if they lose this one, right? Like, all the takes saying there's no way they get rid of him assumed they rolled here, right?

That's why they call New York the Windy City, folks
November 16, 2025 at 7:33 PM
You have to come up with a new term for the unit, it's simply a lie to call them special at this point.

The chatter on here this week was whether it was okay to enjoy the Packers blowing out New York this weekend given how bad they've played/been coached and, man, that debate made a hilarious assumption.

There's no way that was his call on the most important play of the game (season?)

Play action on 3rd and 10 from your own 11 with 2 minutes left, down 3. He's an 11 year old playing Madden.

The way LaFluer calls plays there's maybe, what, 2 possessions left? 3 tops? So you have to score twice on those now, probably. Feels unlikely!

The Badgers and Packers offense have a single brain cell between them and they each hold onto it while the other is playing for safekeeping

Matthew LaFluer, football terrorist

The Wisconsin Badgers have won a football game in which their leading passer was the backup punter (1/1, 24 yards).
November 9, 2025 at 1:38 AM
How many programs in the state of Wisconsin have at least one quarterback better than the Badgers? Between the WIAC and maybe even the top HS seniors, it's gotta be at least half a dozen.
November 8, 2025 at 11:49 PM
That was the best ball that any quarterback has thrown to a Wisconsin player this season

Fire everyone. Start with MLF, finish with the beer vendors. Anyone not wearing a helmet needs to go, now. Shocking performance.

If he runs through that instead of slides we're done here and the Blue Jays are world champions
November 2, 2025 at 3:42 AM
I'm not a doctor but I don't think an opposing goalkeeper passing the ball directly to Mo Salah is a very good idea.

If they were the only two options, I'll take the way the Brewers went out over the Mariners' exit every time. You're pretty much over a one-sided beatdown before it even ends. The hurt from "we were *so* close" never fades.

I think the European football style of league management where, at a maximum, 5-6 teams are permanently the only teams realistically capable of winning the championship works because there are levels of success. Teams that don't win it all can still achieve things that materially matter.

Every Dodgers starting pitcher in this series has a bigger contract than anyone in Milwaukee Brewers history except Christian Yelich
October 18, 2025 at 1:10 AM
Muncy, and 11 other Dodgers, are making more this year than all but 5 Brewers in the franchise's history (based on AAV).
the dodgers being able to bring in a high profile free agents like max muncy on an enormous $24M/2 year contract is exactly the kind of thing that's damaging the health of the sport
October 15, 2025 at 2:05 AM
What exactly is the point here? That the Dodgers happened to find a good player for cheap? Lots of teams do that. Doing that is, in fact, why the Brewers are here.

It's a lot easier to win games when you get to pair those lucky finds with 7 players making more than $100 million dollars.
only a big market team could afford to roster superstars like andy pages
October 15, 2025 at 1:53 AM
The Brewers put themselves in this position by playing great defense, playing small ball on offense, and never giving in. They're either going to find that, which they've lacked over the last month, and win, or they're not, and they'll get rolled by an on-paper vastly superior team.
October 15, 2025 at 12:53 AM
I'm not saying the Brewers are definitely going to win the NLCS, the playoffs are a different beast. But the national media acting like the Dodgers beating a team they were 0-6 against this season is academic is embarrassing. MKE was objectively better than LA by every empirical measure this season.
October 13, 2025 at 12:43 AM
Did not anticipate the Brewers winning a playoff series for the first time in 8 years would come at the price of a bunch of internet dorks shitting all over my city!
October 12, 2025 at 4:01 AM
Oh hell yeah, the extremely white city of Milwaukee.
do i think the dodgers likely stomp the brewers? yes. do i also think baseball is incredibly stupid and makes no sense so anything could happen? yes. do i also find milwaukee uncomfortable as a concept because that many white people who look like me in one place is unnerving and dangerous? also yes
