I’m grateful for Dick Latvala, convincing the Grateful Dead that bootleg two-track recordings of their live performances had historical value, and he gathered all of it in the age of bootleg tape trading by mail. Dick’s Picks Vol. 1 is a fine choice on a Sunday.
