Is it weird to thank LLMs for their answers? Feels rude not too, also I want ingratiate myself for when they take over, like the algorithm's first order of business will be "if rude, terminate!"

“When they heard that an atmospheric river was in the forecast, #Vancouver city staff knew their NEW RAINWAY was about to be put to the test.

The green stormwater system, the 1st of its kind to be designed by the city, was to be hit with a volume of water that would break records…” Via @thetyee.ca

The Seawall.

It connects most of the important parts of the city: Stanley park, science world, Granville island, beaches, kitsilano, west end, yaletown, etc etc etc

You can walk, take the aquabus, grab coffee, meet friends, let kids ride bikes, veer off into the city centre to run errands, etc
CHALLENGE: Here’s one for those of you following me from right here in Vancouver (I have no idea how many of u there are, but I’m curious).

Share something you love about our city, without sneaking in (in the usual way we do) a backhanded criticism of any kind.

See if you can do it. #VancouverLove

Remember this? In a referendum in Paris early this year, almost 55% voted in favor of a BIG increase in parking rates for SUVs, which have been surging in sales, for non-residents. Both in the city center & city-wide. www.cnbc.com/2024/03/11/p...

That new jaguar design... hot take: I don't hate it. Definitely is giving Hyundai Ioniq vibes.

The ad makes no sense, like isn't this a car company? Where are the cars? Are they deleting cars from their product line? www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLtF...

I watched 3 minutes of InfoWars the other day and I honestly could not tell if the content was already being produced by the Onion or Alex Jones.

When you post random clips from YouTube in someone's feed and say, "do your research" you're putting the undue burden on them of both disproving your 5 minute reactionary influencer clip and then also trying to prove the opposite. It's too much of a burden, just say "I'm not an expert" and move on.
