I am into Bio-Hacking, Intermittent/Prolonged Fasting (ceiling 72-120 hours), Neuro Gum, Underbrush Remineralizing Gum, and I microdose 0.2 grams of psilocybin each week.

My longest fast is 96 hours,
Jan 29th 10:48 - Feb 2nd 10:59 pm.
This last gasp of fat is the hardest to burn off, prolonged fasting (3-7 days) is mostly fueled by subcutaneous fat.

I will switch my fasting routine till it melts off. Out of an abundance of caution, my ceiling will be 3-5 days each week. Might dip my toe into 5-7 territory, just to see if I can 😆

I found a sea salt that has high potassium, it will allow me to stop adding “lite salt”. But the dosages only work if I add 6 baby dill pickles, might be different for you.

My mouth is very hungry at this point in the fast, being able to identify what type of hunger is one of the best skills fasting has taught me.

Types of Hunger
- thirst
- mouth (cravings)
- boredom/habit
- True Hunger

True hunger starts as a pulling from the stomach, and grows till you refuel.

On majority of my fasts I have tweaked my Protocol to allow for “Dirty Fasting”. Pickles, Neuro Gum, and a new addition Arizona low calorie Green Tea w/ Ginseng (960 ml). All in they are >50 calories.

3 baby dill pickles (8 calories)
4 pieces of Neuro Gum (10-12)
960 ml low calorie Green Tea (28)

Wanted to share what I would do, use ketones as fuel, if I had cancerous cells/tumours. Also, I have epilepsy, but it has been controlled for over a decade.

Hope it’s informative, ChatGPT is such a great resource for knowledge… if prompted well 😆

I usually break fasts before <48 hrs because I am still not comfortable with taking electrolytes.

This year I want to change that, and not giving into cravings before 18 hrs. I can 18 hrs easily, before I treated it as a reward for all the progress I have achieved.

Time to tighten it up 🙂

I have a big bowl of spaghetti waiting for me, but I have to do my refeed steps when a fast goes over 24 hrs. I have to wait an hour and half before I can have solid food.
Just got back from 2 hrs in the therapy pool (34 Celsius), and an hour of assisted workout. I try to exercise in a fasted state.

Once I reach my ideal BMI, my fasting pattern will primarily switch to FED² — Feeding Every Second Day.

My average fasting time is over 24 hours, from all the prolonged fasts. Had a weigh in at my Doctors appointment, was 176 (November 25th) and now 169. I always get weighed in a fasted state.

I had leftovers from yesterday, had to eat them today. Only reason I broke this fast.

Going for a long one next, but I will stick to my new resolution of 18 hr minimum. I can do 18 hrs easily 🙂

I want that to be more disciplined with my Protocol this year, not give into cravings.

I still have to get more comfortable with taking Electrolytes, but I will get there this year. When you see <48 hr fasts this is usually the reason.

My next weigh in is on the 13th, next doctor’s appointment.

I prompted my Tutor, ChatGPT, to read all peer reviewed papers on intermittent and prolonged fasting. Then to critique my Protocol to find any weaknesses so I can tweak it.

I got it to squish it all into a screenshot, not a small feat 😆

Here is my December stats, I have about 10 pounds left to lose then I have to switch up my Fasting for weight loss (prolonged), to maintenance (OMAD/<48 hrs).

I tweaked my Protocol, at my ideal BMI, to have 2 stackable <48 hrs followed by an OMAD fast. This out an abundance of caution.

Just wanted to give a quick update about my other biohacks, stopped using the remineralizing gum till I get my teeth cleaned, and I have tripled my micro dosage. I am going through some life stresses, but they will pass 🙂

Neuro Gum is still a game changer for me, highly recommended you try it out.

I am taking a break from Fasting for a few days for Family Dinners over Christmas.

I started to lose weight, but have chosen Intermittent/Prolonged Fasting as my default way of eating because of all the health benefits.

Wanted to squeeze in a longish one…

Got a massive craving for pizza, so I unapologetically caved in to a pizza feast shortly after 47 hours.

The bigger reason is that I am baking Ginger Cookies, if I didn’t break it last night I would have had to bake in a fasted state. I have decent willpower, but why torture myself 😆

This is the week I push for 72, with a ceiling of 120 hours. My system is totally flush with all essentials, and will start my electrolytes/pickle if I get past 48 hours. If I will pass 48 during sleep, have learnt the hard way to take electrolytes before bed.

Don’t want to repeat that lesson 😆

On low activity days, usually on Saturday or Sunday, I only drink enough water to take my medication.

I always felt a twinge of guilt for not following the Protocol that is the Cornerstone of my fasting.

Turns out this is called “Dry Fasting”, and totally safe if done 12-20 hours.

Updated Refeed
Step 1: coconut water 500 mL or 1 tsp raw honey, wait 30 min

Step 2: beef protein (broth/collagen included)+whey shake 20 fl oz w/ creatine, and pinch of sea/lite salt. Nets me 55 grams of protein, wait 30 min

Step 3: beans/corn + rice, or tuna sandwich (Calorie deficit no rice).

Out of an abundance of caution I decided to OMAD for 5 days. This next week I am going to start listening to my body to break fasts.

My ceiling this week is <48 hours, will do an OMAD between them, and 3rd week going for a prolonged Fast >72, ceiling of 120 hours.
