Listening to arguably one of the greatest albums of all time this evening in honor of Brian Wilson. I don't like most of the Beach Boys' music, but Pet Sounds has such a unique combination of songs. Every time I listen to it, I hear something new.

I have an office at my new job (first time I've had my own office in 20 years!!), so I need to decorate. Figured it might be a good place to put my NX-01 model that was in storage prior. #StarTrek 🚀

Recently finished "Paradise Falls" by Keith O'Brien, which is an excellent deep dive into the US' first well-known public health emergency around chemical dumping. Reading through it, I couldn't help but see parallels to the ongoing COVID pandemic in that our government does not want to help us 🧵

Decided to replace my Enterprise hat. I never liked my old one, which looked clunky. New one from Star Trek store looks better but still fits kind of big on my head.

I think Eaves' updated one looks awesome, but that's because Jeffries' original design set such a high bar & standard. It is an impressive piece of engineering to see in person at Smithsonian.

This was the first part that soured #StarTrekGenerations for me. While kid me didn't like seeing the Enterprise destroyed, it doesn't bother me as a plot point. But having watched that ship take much bigger beatings over 7 TV seasons, this demise felt small and almost unnecessary in the film.

I am slowly working through the last 3 seasons of Voyager. I stopped watching it midway in season 4 when it originally aired. It's never been one of my favorites, but I figured I owed it my complete attention as a #StarTrek fan.
