I absolutely adore the MK70 for travel. More capable than a LK150 and no sponge bar!
We do what’s called “chasing 70.” We move around the US with the weather to stay where it’s cooler (i.e, around 70°). So sport weight is my preferred yarn; the perfect weight for the MK70.

Darn! I have 7 knitting machines, but I am traveling for the next few years (in a motorhome). I have a a folding MK70 with me so I have punchcards with me but no ribber capability 😖. But I absolutely love your edge treatment!!

But beware!! These machines breed like rabbits! Do not take your eyes off of your machine, or the next thing you know, you’ll turn around and somehow there will be seven of them!!

Or, with a ribber, they can be knit in the round. This video is done on a bulky machine rather than a standard bed so it is easier to see the techniques used, but the principle is the same on a standard bed as well.
