A nice middle ground I like is flash cards and minis. Especially dry erase flash cards. Helps you keep track of who's engaged and not, who/what's in each zone, etc. I haven't used this method in HMTW yet, but seems like it would translate flawlessly.

Van Helsing is not a good movie but I would be lying if I said it didn't have amazing set/costume direction and some interesting ideas about horror troupes. I'll definitely be thinking about this movie as I work on my Castlevania themed dungeon

I'm also working on a few other things, namely a cyberpunk rpg I'll talk about publicly more eventually.
