i had a relative (that i didn't really know) post a goodbye letter on facebook and dear lord there's nothing darker than witnessing that whole thing unfold from the sidelines and then watching people post to his page in the years after 💀

but my partner got a little baby kitten a lil over a year and a half ago and she is a KILLER. A SHRIKE. there is no rehab if she gets ahold of a young, adventurous mouse. she fuckign eviscerates them instantly, consumes most of them, and leaves the scraps on my partner's bed. send help.

my cat had managed to convince me that the thought of modern, well-fed cats as efficient mousers was a myth. obviously indoor cats are terrible mousers.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯ seems fair to me. if i deleted my account i'd ideally want all traces of me deleted too. i assume any self-opted deletion could be reversed within a reasonable timeframe, though, to avoid account takeover issues.

i proceeded to play the "grandpa's gonna sue the pants off of santa" song vid for him and he was even more baffled and intrigued.

also only semi related but today i informed my indian coworker that Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer was the only good christmas movie and he was baffled and intrigued such a movie could exist. (he wasn't aware of the OG song either)
