YouTube is launching an auto dubbing feature and it's certainly powered by AI which is bad. But it's also an accessibility feature which is good. AI sucks, but when it helps people with dyslexia avoid the autocaptions, it makes a blanket rejection harder to justify. I'll have to think about this one

Since Tuesday, I have recorded 6000 of a 9000 word script and edited 40 of the what's looking to be an almost 50 minute long season preview video. All that to hit a self-imposed arbitrary Monday deadline. I'm blaming the summer anime season for motivating me so much.

If anyone wants to know what the middle point on this slippery slope looks like, the inspiration tab on YouTube Studio will practically write a video and generate thumbnails and titles for you. Give it a year and YouTube will probably just AI generate schlock for your channel.
