i hope the whole episode is myspace based.

i don't know if there's a payoff necessarily for watching all the preceding episodes but i do think it's worth watching season two.

I don't even want to say too much about this one. I generally dgaf about spoiling whatever I'm watching cause it's usually old news anyway but this was straight up good tv. I think if you like crime dramas, especially from the early 2010's, this is a really strong episode and you should watch it.

Star of the episode was definitely Ivo Nandi! Often the (sympathetic) questioning scenes are just setups for monologues and this one was lovely, absolutely magnetic performance. I'd love to see more of his work- some kind of watchparty of episodes of stuff he's been in, haha.

given the circumstances of this particular murder it's pretty gauche to have a subplot where these dipshits are betting on who can solve a murder faster

it's a you problem if you marry an artsy loser and then get mad your husband is an artsy loser. "how could you hate me so much" "you made it easy" mean? rude? unwarranted?

i really like the identical dialog across these two episodes, where a murder victim's close good friend scowls and goes "what's the point of dragging his name through the mud?"
