Is it possible the Dems want to force a vote so they can pin GOP no votes on them ahead of the 2026 elections? There are some flippable seats (Maine, NC to name two) and having to defend voting against ACA benefits for constituents would be challenging

I teach the Constitution every year and since last school year I’ve had to basically tell the students at the end of the unit that a lot of what you just learned doesn’t really apply at the moment.

Biden won NJ by 15 points in 2020. Harris only won the state by 6 in 2024 With about 85% of the vote in, Sherrill is running about the same as Biden. Took Trump 10 months to wipe out all his gains in the state.
