I also finally got to host a roundtable discussion about women in the transit workforce. There was an amazing turnout, great insights from three women on our panel & a lot of support from allies to keep digging into the underrepresentation. 2/2 #transit #equity #publictransit

There are a lot of growth transit references in Mayor-elect Knack's platform (and some transit components in most of the incumbent platforms). 🧐

100%. Some systems don't have documented service standards with specific metrics &/or haven't calculated their alignment to minimum standards. It's an important part for prioritizing new service hours.

The report last fall pointed out that it would take 99 buses to close gap to meet service standards. Cities have taken on much bigger challenges, successfully, across North America. 😁
