Coming back to this thread to also note (having been reminded of it yet again today) that many academics ignore policy completely, don't understand policymaking (or how research fits), and very often big foot all over policymakers or other practitioners, ignoring key concepts, knowledge and ventures

On May 15 @who.int launch the Global Research Agenda on Knowledge Translation and Evidence-Informed Policy-making.
