Charlie Kirk spent his life‘s work and all of his energy and time targeting out-groups while arguing for a world in which gun massacres would be easy to enact, plentiful, and inevitable, and he became famous and wealthy doing it, and we’re now not supposed to mention that because it’s not polite.

The history of the US right wing is a history of unprovoked violence. Lynchings, abortion clinic attacks, bombings, murders, attacks on queer people, nazi mass shootings, the Oklahoma bombing, January 6th, LA, DC, Chicago next, mass deportations, trans extermination. They don’t need an excuse.

no offends if this is you but if you're thinking "this is going to make the right do fascism" they're already there. they blew up a boat with 11 people on it for being immigrants. they're kidnapping US citizens and trying to rendition them to Uganda. do you think we're on a trajectory to peace

If you were a German citizen under Nazi occupation and you fought back - you were a hero. If you lied to the Gestapo, if you fought the system, that was heroism. If you killed a Nazi - we look back on you and know that was good. In 50 years, think how history will see ICE agents; act accordingly.

This isn't a joke. A sovereign nation is not "fertile ground" and it's direct provocation of colonial expansion and a bloody war with a key ally.

The fact that Trump forced a ceasefire before being in the Oval Office should be the end of the Democratic Party. It is clear now Biden could have ended the genocide whenever he wanted, and he chose not to. Not only that, it is clear that if he did that Dems may have held onto the WH and the House.

The idea of “social murder” is super useful, and we need to get comfortable using it. Engels is the best, man - reading him feels like finally acknowledging the obvious reality everyone wants you to ignore

If you have watched a loved one die because an insurance conglomerate has denied their life saving treatment as a cost cutting measure, it's natural to wish that the people who run such conglomerates would suffer the same fate. www.usermag.co/p/yes-we-wan...
Yes, "we" want insurance executives dead
No, that doesn't mean people should murder them. But if you've watched a loved one suffer and die from insurance denial, it's normal to wish the people responsible would suffer the same fate.

“Actually we shouldn’t celebrate political violence” oh my god I wish I could write an essay about you thumb in the ass dorks. No one is celebrating that we live in a time of unimaginable political violence. But people deeply understand why there might be motive to commit political violence against

Sharing this quote from Terry Pratchett’s Going Postal for no particular reason, certainly not to do with the discourse around whether the murder of one rich CEO is justifiable against the small incremental deaths of millions he likely contributed to.

"The State forbade killing to death any one person but didn't forbid the half-killing of millions. To kill a man, that is, to decrease the sum of a human life span by fifty years - this was criminal. But decreasing the sum of many humans' lives by fifty million years - this was not criminal."
