getting fantastic print quality after having to do a partial teardown of the hotend, replace the extruder (bowden system, baybee), and install a new nozzle, is so fucking rewarding.

my car's head unit has too many integrated settings that deal with the rest of the car for me to replace it, but I still want a way to put my absurdly long playlists through it - no USB and no aux-in on my model.

we make do until i can figure out a more advanced thing

I am begging. you gotta stop warping. i dont get it
February 20, 2025 at 7:31 AM
fuckssake
February 19, 2025 at 5:56 AM
Starting to think i should just accept the warping as a part of life. The bed isnt gonna get any hotter, the hotends are maxed out, and the bed glue is VERY applied. At least, on the V3 SE. I put too much on the Sermoon before yesterday's print and it ended up damaging the printed part.

Ok close but no. Still impressive that this ancient trimmer line i found in a thrift store can run so well, all things considered.

the donor parts came from this pile of what was once a Dualsense v2 controller, which I found already destroyed in a dumpster while helping my sister move out of her college dorm.

do I try to get this one at least somewhat working as well? haha
January 5, 2025 at 10:38 AM
finally repaired this Dualsense v1 after putting it off for months! I don't remember where I found it (maybe a junkyard?) but it was one of the most involved repairs I could have done myself. One of the adaptive trigger modules needed to have parts replaced.

So it looks like they're taking the wrong lesson from this, does it need to be taught more? Do we need to reinforce what the actual lesson is?
