Little excursion into Kent. Went to see Anne Boleyn’s childhood home at Hever Castle. Nice respite from how manic London is. Getting tired now, sore feet and back. Tomorrow is Hampton Court Palace

So went for a hike and found the green loch, saw some reindeer, got drenched on a beach, met some coos, met a lynx and the guy off Strictly & Countryfile, met some more coos and a polar bear, went up a mountain and got wet, went to another beach and got wet by the sea, met a colourful jelly fish.

£67 worth of shopping from Asda. Utterly ridiculous. No meat, no cleaning or pet products. The Dr Pepper is the only ‘treat’. Basically a top up rather than full shop. £67 for that. It’s beyond a joke now.

25 years ago my son made this angel at nursery. She’s been out every year since. My daughter made the candle 20 years ago. I can’t imagine Christmas without putting them up!
