Post op ophthalmology today. Eye healing nicely, aced the sight test in my left eye! Which considering I could barely see out of that one three weeks ago is amazing. Right eye being operated on the 24th November!

Home, feels a bit like I’ve been punched in the eye. Looks bloodshot and my sight in that eye is even worse but I’m assured this will clear over the next few days. Can’t bend forward for 2 weeks so himself is on picking things off the floor duty. Glad it’s over though.

#Cataracts be gone! Got my date for the op. I’m having my left eye done a week tomorrow! That was fast!

Ophthalmology appointment earlier. Good news is that the cataract in my left eye has progressed very quickly which means it’s ready for surgery. Should be before Christmas - yay! Right eye is progressing more slowly so that one will probably be next year. So by Christmas I should be able to see!

Got my annual OS update today. Flu in one and Covid in the other. Now I can’t raise either of my arms and I’m starting to shiver. But at least my operating system is up to date 😂

Well that went well… not. They got his arm open and the vein was too small for the fistula. Stitched him back up and he’s got to have another scan to find another vein. Ho hum. #dialysis

Little excursion into Kent. Went to see Anne Boleyn’s childhood home at Hever Castle. Nice respite from how manic London is. Getting tired now, sore feet and back. Tomorrow is Hampton Court Palace

Another day another glasses prescription. Hope it lasts longer than the two months this last one did. More new specs on their way. It would be really nice if my eyes would start behaving themselves. I think Specsavers are fed up of seeing me!

So went for a hike and found the green loch, saw some reindeer, got drenched on a beach, met some coos, met a lynx and the guy off Strictly & Countryfile, met some more coos and a polar bear, went up a mountain and got wet, went to another beach and got wet by the sea, met a colourful jelly fish.
