The top 1% evade $163 billion in taxes per year — enough to end homelessness, hunger, and pay for universal childcare.

👆🏻 This is the crime wave we should be talking more about.

This is spot-on, and goes even beyond the FAA: Project 2025 is manufacturing a crisis for their end goal.
It's annoying how clearly this is going to play out.

They gut the FAA.
Therefore, the FAA can't do its job well because it was gutted.
Therefore, they say "The FAA sucks, we have to privatize it." which is what Project 2025 wants to do. They're manufacturing the crises for their end goal.

They provide info on the issues, call scripts (thank you, from those of us terrified of making calls!), and contact info for your elected officials. Doesn't get easier than that.

As a former park ranger, I have tons of friends still in the fed workforce, and I'm seeing most of them get fired, or (if they're supervisors) being forced to fire people, for no reason other than they haven't worked there long enough. My heart goes out to you. Ready to revolt when you are. ✊🏼

in what meaningful way can we say that the constitution is in effect when an unelected and unaccountable billionaire is wielding state power to unilaterally cancel congressional appropriations?
Hearing that DOGE went into the Dept of Education today and shut down almost the entirety of the department's in-house research arm, Institute of Educational Sciences, cancelling contracts totally about $900m.

I was working at Denali National Park the summer that the mountain was renamed Denali from Mt. McKinley in 2015, and I felt so proud to be a part of the park in that historic moment. Alaskans overwhelmingly support keeping the mountain's indigenous and rightful name.
Alaska lawmakers have overwhelmingly approved a resolution urging President Trump to abandon his plans to rename the continent’s largest mountain from Denali back to Mount McKinley. #ISTANDWITHDENALI

As a storyteller, there are few things more nerve-wracking than sending your interviewee the final cut of the film you made about them. And there are few things more gratifying than hearing back that it far exceeded their expectations and brought them to tears. 🥹 This is why I do what I do.
