I went to school in south Florida, and while I was able to avoid frats, I've known entirely too many of these doofuses.

This tweet is interesting as a meta-narrative, decrying the decline of education and indeed of our whole online culture.

This poster deploys their (apparent) inability to find suitably boring bread to call out the glaring defects in how we prepare people to live in a world with too many choices 1/?

Capitalism... yay! 🙄

No, fuck this guy. He's wrong, and he's an asshole. Don't go to work sick, risking others' health as well as your own recovery.

We need to normalize paid sick days, rest and recuperation, and launch hustle culture into the sun.

Food, housing, healthcare...?

Nope, never heard of 'em.

First of all, what do you mean by "statists?" If they're all "freely admitting" to wanting everything as a government handout, I'm going to need some evidence, jackass.

Lol.

This person does not understand markets.

2 decades? You don't know what you're missing.

However, let's say you're correct that you won't benefit DIRECTLY from public libraries. What about indirect benefits? Living in a literate society, one which has access to sources of news and local history.

Ok, I can't just sit here and screenshot the whole essay. Just go read it already, ok?

Those who are appalled at the reaction to the killing seek to preserve the status quo, and their place within it.

Police enact violence daily in service to shareholders and boards of directors, in service to chambers of commerce, and banks, in service to capital.
