We had similar set ups 2016 and 2022 and they all end in some -ve NAO pattern for much of April and a Greenland High. Its like a sudden death of NH winter circulation leading to abnormal warmth over Alaska, Greenland & Siberia, as the Great Lakes & N EUR saw chill spells. Also a Permafrost killer.

My two cents here: Market forecasts are impossible, but always right in the end. Weather forecasts follow the "buy the rumour, sell the fact" rule, but are always physically plausible. Politicians deceive & mislead by default. The more the louder they speak.
