I have never seen such stable Rossby wave trains averaged over an entire month (November) on both hemispheres. Super stable wave #4 over the SH and what seems like a #2 over the NH in a 500 mb anomaly map. NH polar vortex record weak.

Why is MAGA/DOGE going after NOAA? Greed. Given its commercial impact vs its headcount, it is a rather efficient entity. Weather forecasts have become a huge business and it is ELONs way to get his hands on a business that has not seen monopolies so far. www.washingtonpost.com/climate-envi...
