Since Bathroom Doorhandle Bruise has discovered its inner disco phase – like its celebrating its own private Pride Parade – and it is only about 70 degrees (albeit a tad humid), I’m wearing a long-sleeved T today….

I was just below our state treasurer in personal donations to Democrats, & now, as I’m retiring to the great fixed income. I’m going to be ONLY collecting change – & for WTE only. I think Pete would understand. I say this only to caution others. Give if you can, but never until it hurts. 🐝💙💛

It's been a day... Spent most of the morning at the neurologist having some recent developments checked out - bonus: she said my walk is still pretty good. Then a haircut and a gift of a purple conditioning rinse. Hope it falls somewhere between can't tell and Mrs. Slocombe. IYKYK

Why #Parkinson’s peeps have to be careful about banging into things – like the women’s bathroom door handle. Our skin can be just a tad more fragilez

Happy 4th of July to all those who would NOT have DEEPLY disappointed these three this year. I’m sure you know who you are

I missed the Kentucky Derby this year, and I hear there was a joke made about the name 'Journalism.' But consider this ... All horses in the race were descendants of the legendary racehorse Secretariat. That makes them all winners in my book.

Fuck it, I’m over 65 and I feel like having ice cream for breakfast. I know, I can feel the judgment already…

Well, it’s finished and I think I gained muscle mass pulling it through my sewing machine.

Happy “up there on the celestial plain” birthday to my kid brother Jeff. I hope he can tear our big brother Rob, right, any from hobnobbing with the aliens long enough to celebrate Jeff’s special day.

So i decided to do something light and breezy (at least on my head) with a close-cropped’ ‘do. I was going to do it anyway, but today’s warm & humid weather said, “go for it!”
And now it appears that I have “white walls.” What do we think about purple highlights?

I got impatient with the conflicting guidelines and requirements some quilt shops impose, and the price is out of my range – so I decided to finish it myself. It’s like wrestling a hungry python, maneuvering it on my machine, but so far, I’m winning. I think.

Me? Oh, nothing.
It’s the Patriots Day holiday in Maine and here in Massachusetts today, so there’s only so much work you can get done. Right now I’m out on the lawn, catching a few rays and contemplating this pine tree

reason enough for his walk in the shoes of St. Peter to conclude on Easter Monday. May that be a blessing to us, even as we look anxiously to who will take his place.
I wasn't even enough of a Catholic to lapse -- not baptized until I was 11 w/ no follow-up -- and I feel that to my core.

St. Francis, for whom Pope Francis I took his papal name. once said, "there is enough for all," suggesting that God's grace is abundant and that there is enough for everyone to find peace and love. Pope Francis offered some of that assurance to those of us in the LGBTQ+ community and that was 1/2

Happy Easter to all of you enjoying a really quiet day – I did a little work this morning and have been lazing about reading some, having a bit of Chinese takeout while binging The Residence on Netflix… again 🐣🐣🐇🐇 Joy

The center pattern, which I had hoped to be large enough for a quilt on its own, holds NY Times headlines of lots of history I've lived through. Once I start it, I'll post my progress, but first, there's local news waiting... There are budget deficits, levy override votes, graduations etc, to cover.
