And here we are in an era where we can no longer point to a presidents as a positive leader!

Though I am an art teacher, I lead a remedial reading group. I chose, “Little Leaders Bold Women in Black History” by Vashti Harrison for my group. The girls are soaking it up and reading with pride!

My son spends hours working on Mandalas and other adult-style coloring books by the way! It’s great therapy for him.

I taught in the 1992-2006 and was self employed from 2006-2020. I came back right as the pandemic started. I’m not sure how long I’ll last between my health and the world being out to get us.

I have two of my own children with IEP’s and one with a 504. I am a fierce advocate for equality and inclusion.
