I remind my students if they want to be leaders, they must ask
Do I want to be the kind of leader who models disrespect & unkindness, demonstrating pride, selfishness, and disparagement?
Or the kind of leader who models respect & responsibility, demonstrating kindness, empathy, and encouragement?

Him, “I thought it was a medicine?”

We were headed home after running errands & doing a ton of chores. The kids were excited for the rest of the day to be “free time.” Aiden, my son with Down syndrome, saw this gentleman raking all alone wanted to help. He helped for 15 mins, then gave the man a big hug.
