One of the most popular posts I’ve ever had on TikTok is about the invisible homeless folks that live in extended stay hotels. I’ve had close to a thousand ppl say they currently live or have lived in them recently.

One of the advantages of being sober this long is my role model status has died off a bit so I can return to being the petty person I truly am

Anything going on in the news recently? I guess if there was, we would not be able to talk about it because fuck free speech

The past 24s have been a great example of why I don’t post my first or even second thoughts when I comes to current events. I was screened for a clearance last years and they went through ten years of my social media posts including likes, comments, etc

Dear journalists:

The President has not fired Lisa Cook. The President is *trying* to illegally fire her.

Your words shape people’s reality. Please be accurate in your reporting.

Constituent: You talked about abuses in the medicare and medicaid system and I found interesting that the president pardoned someone that defrauded the medicaid system for $1.3 billion

I don’t post as much on social media because right wing operatives tried to get me in trouble at my place of employment. I have three kids. I need my job. Hence they mostly won.

Ugh guess I will have to abandon my tiktok account with nearly 50k followers if I don’t be part of an authoritarian propaganda machine

I feel weird about the fact that I spent twenty years of my life normalizing Naloxone use and now it’s SO normalized that SAMSHA wants to completely spilt it off from other forms of harm reduction. What freaking times we are living in.

The other day I saw three seniors out protesting Trump at an intersection on a random Tuesday and another person had a Trans rights sign. I feel like there’s a tiny bit of hope

I’ve seen trafficked teenagers try to get their pimps convicted of sex crimes and conspiracy charges. The Diddy trial was way too similar. The jury would have trouble emphasizing with literal children because “they could have just left”

My primary care Dr is prescribing me ozempic after I’ve spent six weeks in the weight loss part of my HMO. Since quitting drugs, I’ve lost and regained 50ish pounds at least 5 times. Very nervous about the whole thing.

Please don’t presume this is now an American president making a serious decision for the good of America, not a malignant despot desperate to be seen as a strong man.

honestly one of the most encouraging recent developments is the naked opportunism of Governor Gavin Newsom, and I pray that there are copycats

‘Come and get me’: Gavin Newsom has entered the meme war
Locked in an online showdown with Trump over the L.A. protests, Newsom is styling himself as an internet-era champion of the left.

A large portion of those that are homeless have disabilities. More become disabled because of things that happen while they are homeless.
