Moving forward with my portfolio project. Wrapped rifle texturing. Overall, my approach in asset production is keeping the final picture in mind. Understanding where and how it will be used drives the amount of details that should be put into it.

Always wanted to make a robot hand. The task is on the intersection of art, hardware and software.
To make it happen I took robot nano hand as base

And re-designed it a bit to make it 'wireless'

And the rifle. The goal was to make it from blockout to the textured asset in 2 days. Also, here I tried to work in #plasticity for a first time. Definitely need to model there something more...maybe some sort of acid 70s sci-fi cassette PC? #3dart #gameart #gamedev #unrealengine
