Multiple Battle of New Orleans vets were involved in Canal Bank. Hard to believe they were teenagers being shot at to printing their own money within a 15 year span. 😉

I’m having problems with vertigo now. I swear the bottom stair is narrower than the top ones at my house… and moving. 🤪

Rouses’ sells lottery tickets already, at the front desk. I’ve had to go there during my SW La travels for “entertainment purposes”.

Thought Brooks was the savior at QB after that game. Scrambled in the pocket and slinged it for the TD. One of the best QB plays I ever saw. 😉
So of course, Haslett/some coach told him “don’t scramble” the following year and broke him. 🙄

The line about the committee is “exploring public/private partnerships to facilitate potential real estate development” set me off so bad. Politicians lining up to break up the campus and collect kickbacks. 🙄
