Starting “The Winners” by Fredrik Backman. Not to be dramatic, but I’m already grieving the end of this trilogy. #booksky

Halfway through Tender Is The Flesh and my appetite is shot. Highly recommend for the existential horror and consistent nausea #booksky

AFI dropping a new album but not touring anywhere close to me is the most “I’m too old for this” thing I’ve felt in a while. I’m not driving 80 miles, smh.

I just finished The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and I don’t think I’ll ever recover. 💙📚

Finished reading Lapvona tonight. For the love of God, what did I read? I’ve read some horror books that left me feeling less wonky 😂 Okay but 4/5 though. It was good. #booksky

Musk comes from a family that moved to South Africa *for* the racism. He has repeatedly endorsed Great Replacement Theory in the US & Neo-Nazis of the AfD in Germany. He championed the rights of white nationalists and restored Nazi accounts to Twitter.

But I'm sure the Nazi salute was an accident.

Went from reading Credence to now reading Lapvona. It feels like whiplash and I love it!

I want to go back to simpler times. Go on Limewire, find a good song, download it, and lie to my mom about why we suddenly have 570 viruses. Those were the days.

In follow up to my last post, I went ahead and bought 9 new books. It’s not enough but it’ll do! 💙📚

After this bs week, the only thing that’ll help my sanity a little at this point is buying an obscene amount of books 💙📚

I have nearly an entire story in my head and I’m not sure why I’m hesitant to do the work and write it 💙📚

The Fabric of Our Souls made me cry. The ending really got me. Now I need something to read that’ll make me sob 💙📚

If you read a trilogy, for example, do you read all the books back to back? Or pause and switch to other stories before coming back to book 2 or 3? 💙📚

Had a bit of a mental block with Beartown. So, switched gears to Lights Out by Navessa Allen. Slammed through that and back on Beartown. The abrupt genre change helped my brain get excited to keep reading 💙📚

One time, in middle school, this kid locked another kid in the ball box. Once he got free, he went after the guy who locked him in there and kicked him in the dick. I think about this at least twice a year.

Sometimes I respond to people with song lyrics because I dunno how to act normal. Also, it makes me feel cool.

Decided to read Rubyfruit Jungle again and it made me just as sad as it did the last time I read it.
