I assume there's an 70s/80s Yorkshire haulage pack, with a don't ask don't tell approach to hiring?

Happy birthday 🎈

I think they're keeping the story 'live'. Rather than a big drop of everything, they're making sure the story stays in the media. They'll start with small fry, then build out bigger narratives with more compelling, complete stories. Most stuff so far is inconsequential, low/no-context pics.

Falling for Daily Mail ragebait again Ben?

Careful. I once built an online scheduling system for a group of Microsoft Flight Sim enthusiasts that formed their own airline.

Next thing you know, you'll be on a truckers forum picking up tips on how to trick the tacho.

For me it's "Sailing chic" - boat shoes; flat cotton trousers (utility pocket / convert-to-shorts zip); polo shirt (LaCoste or Ralph Lauren, naturally); Helly Hansen jacket; wraparound oil-effect shades; slim baseball cap; 1 litre Starbucks ceramic mug, with giant latte. Eyes always on the horizon.

At which point AI companies should be nationalised. That's got to be Starmer's plan for all these data centres he wants to build, right? Right?

Yeah, I agree, which is why I wonder if it's a jobbing local authority architect trying to 'do a brutalism'. I suspect my Japanese is not up to finding and reading Fukuoka local gov docs online to find out 😂

I went down a rabbit hole of Japanese brutalism. No luck finding the architect on this - possibly some local government architects? But here it is on Google maps

Dunno. I assume I need to do some age verification thing. Not going to do that.

I mean, he IS going to die. Unless he got some tips from Putin the other week...

I made this very plea back in January. Seems all the more pressing now.

Also think any sentence about Musk should end with "millions dead".
September 15, 2025 at 6:38 AM
Honestly, I think he's more like a Roman Emperor. Untold riches at his fingertips, but only concerned with showing off his power. I foresee Tesla powered chariot racing. In space. Millions dead.
