every time I bake something without a recipe and pull it off flawlessly my ego grows a little more. sometimes I fear that one day I will become like icarus and try to make a croquembouche from scratch and the gods will punish me for my hubris

i think the cutest thing i’ve seen on here so far is that people are looking for followers. it’s endemic to every social media site at some point in its evolution but it’s so rare to see it these days. “hi i’m X and i like these things!! follow if you want that or to be friends!!”
