Interestingly, the NL Central has the best record in baseball currently. Even if you correct for historically bad teams (Pirates, Rockies, White Sox, and Athletics) by removing the bottom team of each division, the NL Central stays on top. The NL West benefits heavily when you ignore the Rockies.

Well, they absolutely shelled the starter, who gave up 9 runs in 2.2 innings. Then they shelled the reliever who also gave up 9 runs but only in .2 innings. The 3rd pitcher seems to be on track to be Iowa's first pitcher tonight to get through 2 innings without giving up 9 runs.
