This turned out to be another gigantic exaggeration. The “massive” offer was a first rd pick and an unnamed roster player. Since the Rangers are trying to improve their roster for a playoff run that means the player was most likely a bottom 6 forward. That’s not a massive offer, that’s a crappy one.
