Here's our images of interstellar object #A11pl3Z from Deep Random Survey's 0.43-meter scope @ Chile. The telescope was following A11pl3Z's motion, so stars appear smeared. Weather got worse by the end, so still hard to tell if it's a comet.

1.3 % chance of hitting the southern hemisphere (eastern Pacific, northern South America, Africa or south Asia) on Dec 22, 2032.
With additional observations and its true orbit details refined, it is expected to be found to pass Earth altogether.

1/ Asteroid 2024 YR4 was discovered on 27 Dec 2024. Follow-up observations, including with ESO’s Very Large Telescope, have found that it has an almost 99% chance of safely passing Earth on 22 Dec 2032, but a possible impact cannot yet be entirely ruled out. 🔭 🧪

A paper that understands its responsibility, in a country that knows it when it sees it.

Impressive from Die Zeit. Refuses to show the salute, but calls it out for what it so obviously was.

The Starship mishap caused havoc at Caribbean airspace yesterday.

A DRA (Debris Response Area) was declared and no flights were allowed to enter the DRA but on their own risk. Flights couldn't reach their primary or alternate airports - Several fuel emergencies were declared.

Let's hope that the international community has now a chance to hand out justice on the Palestine holocaust (genocide) to those responsible in the Israeli government.

Arrest warrants for Prime Minister Netanyahu and Minister of Defence Gallant have been issued by the International Criminal Court.
Israeli attacks have killed 46,645 Palestinians, including 18,000 children, since the war on Gaza began in October.
