Don't be discouraged by things like the kudos to hits ratio, my longest fic has so few kudos compared to hits. I was disappointed with this until I talked to my readers and realized the reason for it was because there were dozens of people who reread the whole thing once every couple months

Uh, this is so in character. Like he was with Freddie.
Will being a gentle killer. Calming his victim, saying everything will be okay, just stay silent, just behave and it will be over soon. He is caressing their face, his victim eventually feels at peace and then Will strikes down with a vicious wrath.
