The button to send a DM to a user pops up on their profile page as an speech bubble icon with three dots/an elipses inside. It's just to the left of the button to follow/unfollow a user! It doesn't show up on my own profile, but I've added a marker in yellow where it should appear!

So far poking at MBON again, definitely enjoying the slippery movement of Arche Gundam and Psycho Zaku for close range and longer range options respectively.
I'll have to poke around at some of the 3k suits and find something that clicks to have one in my repertoire.
