I think the top one is almost certainly ⲑⲥ̄. And I suspect the partially smudged abbreviation below it is [ⲧ?]ⲩⲛ. But I'm not sure if τυν θεός makes sense here...

#Սուդանահայ #Sudanahye is a research project that documents the history & cultural heritage of #SudaneseArmenians. Many Armenians came to Sudan fleeing the #ArmenianGenocide of 1915 by the Ottoman empire, followed by a later wave of immigration in the 1950s.

Only Lepsius records a 3rd word in Nobiin for the conj, but he doesn't mark it as an Arabic loan like 'ammā; lākin'. It appears in the Nobiin translation of the Gospel of Mark (14:6):

"[Mādal] Iēsu baɲɲon: Arāha tannā mugōsan..."

"But Jesus said: “Leave her alone..."

It was the Old Nubian term for 'eparch'. As for the meaning of the term itself, I'm not sure, but it's been argued that it has its origins in a Pre-Nubian substrate language.

#Nobiin ⲕⲟⳡⲓⲅⲟⲩⳡⲓ (koɲiguɲi): 'face/medical mask'

ⲕⲟⳡ (koɲ): 'face' + ⲅⲟⲩⳡⲓ (guɲi): 'shield'
> ⲕⲟⳡⲓⲅⲟⲩⳡⲓ (koɲiguɲi): lit 'face-shield'

#OldNubian terms for 'shield': ⲅⲟⲩⲉⲓ (gouei) & ⲕⲁⲣ (kar). The latter survives in modern #Andaandi & #Matokki
