Did I just blast through it in 4 hours? Yes. Was I annoyed by the interruptions from "work"? Absolutely. Do I love Ethan and Al? 100%

I'm no artist, but I do enjoy when a piece is brought back onto my timeline after a few months. Seeing the same post every day for a week (or more) though is more likely to trigger an unfollow.

Self-reposting can get tiring quickly, especially if it's multiple posts reposted in a row. I feel like OP may have been speaking more to fans, saying that fans can facilitate artist exposure by reposting our fav artists' posts since it's more likely to reach new people.
