Thanks for reading this rambling, I have no clue if that's actually what was intended here with Gangle, but it's how it came across to me, and I love @glitchprod.com for making such a good episode!

6/7 and so, you stop taking the meds, to try and get some normalcy back. And at first, that can feel great, your emotions back, you can be happy again! Free to dance and enjoy stuff like you did before! Gangle dances and is freed from her mask in much the same way

5/? So when it comes to the fact that you can genuinely feel a far more muted range of emotions, it can feel like static in your brain. Gangle gets like this towards the end too, not sad, but more like... empty. It's only thanks to support from Pomni she pulls herself out.

4/? Gangle's gut reaction to this is to try and keep positive, after all, that's what the mask if for! But it can feel like you're trying more than the medication or mask is doing for you

3/? This is great at first, but as time goes on, you can start to feel off about the new feelings...or lack thereof. Meds can be weird, and the more muted emotional range can fuck with you, especially when you do hit some of those emotions, like Gangle does when she removes the mask briefly.

2/? Firstly, there's her reaction to first putting it on. She feels normal. When you're suffering anxiety or depression, the first time on the meds can almost feel like being normal for the first time in ages, which in and of itself can make you feel better

1/? I wanted to post my thoughts on Gangle and her struggles with her new mask, because while the obvious parallel is her masking her true emotions, I feel like there's also a comparison to be made to anti depressants and how they can change your emotions
