In Boston two children near me were in their costumes. I loved this sign held by a lovely frog 🐸, showing us for democracy.

I have just started listening to the audio books. I somehow managed to be invited to a private group luncheon with the author in October. I started listening at 1.20 speed. 🫠

A beautiful bible passage from the floor of the outdoor chapel at Hidden Valley Scout Camp in NH overlooking Lake Eileen. Little did I know in August 2021 (when I took this picture) that everything would change in March 2022 with one Covid infection.

As we reflect on the impact of Pediatric Long Covid on families and the closure of most clinics in the US, we desperately need pediatricians to support kids. While there is no cure, there are treatments.

Gardening still keeps me grounded. This is my third year with a community garden plot as well as the third summer our family has navigated Long Covid. I continue to read as much research to advocate and help as many families as I can.

My community garden plot with several large purple coneflowers in bloom. It is a wall of large green leaves with pops of purple, white orange and pink. Additionally I am growing three varieties of black eyed Susan’s, cornflowers, Shasta daisies and nasturtiums. @sfdirewolf.bsky.social I was visiting our wonderful independent bookstore today. I know these books were shelved in alphabetical order by author last name, but goodness, I had to rescue yours. I am adding them to our church’s lending library.
Found on a bookshelf at my local, independent bookstore on their of nonfiction books of note. The first book is STANLEY TUCCI’s WHAT I ATE IN ONE YEAR (I apologize for the caps, I tried scanning the picture and it follows the capitalization of the source). Second book is Hillbilly Elegy by an author I refuse to name. Then two amazing books I already own edited by Alice Wong: Disability Intimacy Disability Visibility Then a book I did not get a full picture of by MARIE YOVANOVITCH which is Lessons From the Edge.

I am on the Shaggy Mane server. What a lovely surprise.

Waiting in a hallway at Mount Auburn Hospital on the floor outside the drs office. Safer out here than in the waiting room even though I have to sit on the floor. One person told me I was smart to mask given how crowded it is but did not want one when I offered.

And the people keep coming.
