I understand that. What I’m saying is that if he didn’t know where the couple worked, then he killed them because they were Jewish or because they were at a Jewish museum.

Unless there’s some evidence he targeted them because of their connection to the embassy.

But the question is about whether his actions were antisemitic. Regardless of what his manifesto said, it appears he shot Jews on American streets because they were Jewish (and/or leaving a Jewish museum).

They were killed leaving a Jewish museum, not the Israeli embassy -- that's likely why there are claims of antisemitism. Have you seen reporting that shooter targeted them or knew they worked for the embassy?

I crossed between Quebec and Vermont yesterday. It was completely dead, unlike any other of my many border crossings in recent years. All but one lane into the US was closed, and in the open lane there was only one car ahead of ours. The whole stop was quicker than the wait at a red light.

I didn’t feel this one, and I was near Gonzales beach.
