Thank you! I've had an Ooni pizza oven for a couple of years now, and the sourdough starter almost as long 😊 Needless to say I love being able to use them both in my cooking!

Forgot to post this. We recently had Fool's Spring here in Portland, so I made my first pizza of the year to celebrate! Kale and Swiss chard from the garden on top of my sourdough using my starter (I named her Fermentina de Loaf, and she's 18 months!) plus homemade sauce from San Marzano tomatoes.

The artwork has a clearly defined pupil and iris. That makes it look more like an eye, no? Then again, you're a dog - you can't even see colors! :) Because the real nebula already looks like an eyeball, that is why people get fooled into thinking the fake one is real - they both resemble each other.

Might have made too much bread for the stuffing 😅 Guess it's Sandwich Week at our house!

A local restaurant here in Portland OR sold kits to make their signature mini madeleines (complete with a Silpat mold) and I must say, they make a good breakfast! There's masa flour in the batter, along with jalapeño dust and delicious butter.

Amazon's "A.I. assistant" suggested questions for me to ask it about a product, then generated an answer based on reviews that don't exist?

There's nothing like a sun-warmed ripe tomato right off the vine! We had a decent crop of cherry tomatoes, including orange paruche. Season got a bit of a late start this year, many didn't quite ripen.

First time cooking rockfish and won't be my last! Cheap and delicious, pan seared in butter and oil and dressed with a lemon caper beurre blanc. Smashed potatoes and asparagus.

I love the way bird feathers catch light from all angles. This is Gary, our Stellar's Jay friend, sitting on our fence post and waiting for peanuts under one of our Rhodies.

Made the best pizza of my life so far with dough I made a while back and froze. Topped with mozz, parm, queso fresco, and Asiago, along with fresh zucchini from the garden. And it was thin enough to fold!

This morning I made English muffins and turned some into an open breakfast sandwich with avocado and a runny fried egg.
