Normally, I’d give State a hard time about “settling” for Doeren yet again, but in this NIL, transfer portal, $50 million buyout era, there’s a lot of value in knowing who you are.
Doeren will consistently get you around 8 wins and a second tier bowl game. Nothing wrong with mediocrity.

I just hope everybody is open and honest about the fact that the first hugely consequential example of “Don’t give a fuck about the playoffs I’m trying to get paid” was a white 50 year old coach who was already a millionaire and not a player like all the old white dudes said it would be.
