I mean, it's a made up story so I can do whatever I want, but I still want it to be REALISTIC, yknow? (especially since this one is set in modern times, basically exactly like reality but with made up people)

And as over-the-top as all those mental complexes sound for a famous celebrity, let's not forget what happened to Robin Williams...or child star Jenna McCurdy, who talked about having a lot of similar things in her autobiography "I'm Glad My Mother Died" 🙃

And here I thought the MC with his drunk abusive birth father and two year relationship with a manipulative narcissistic emotional abuser would make him the most "fucked up mess" (his words)...

(and the adhd and avoidant disorder haven't even come out yet), so anyone who only reads the first twenty chapters is gonna think "ugh this guy is too perfect, he's boring," not realizing how much of his presentation is a total facade 😬

Like, I had already determined that the ML has relationship ocd that causes him to go into avoidant mode where he tries to self sabotage the relationship whenever he starts to actually fall in love, but the "suicide attempt at 14" thing really threw me for a loop.
