the baroqueness of imperial measurements is a feature and not a bug. It keeps you on your toes while the ease of base 10 metric simplicity will atrophy your brain. The imperial brain learns to be unit ambidextrous and understands measurements better as an abstract tool and not reality itself
Isn’t this the point of the diagram that it looks like (roughly) the tree of life depiction of the Sefirot, while actually being a chart of how imperial measurements work. (In order to criticize the imperial system as needlessly baroque?)
