I just say I am from the States.

But it does require trial and error, it requires not leaving communities behind, it necessitates the destruction of certain things. Which should be obvious, but instead folks want a New New Deal, sigh. This empire crumbling is its own doing.

But there is no version of the US prior to now where a historically excluded community wasn't thrown under the bus in the name of progress. We need something better, something new. And that does not mean younger, the youth stay reinventing the wheel and try to sell it back to us as new.
